New Orleans – birthplace of Jazz

After a short flight from Washington we arrived in New Orleans and the first thing we notice was the temperature and the humidity in the air. For people now used to the cold and dry Norwegian weather it was something different, very hot and humid.

We arrived at the hotel before the room was ready so we left our luggage and went for a stroll. We found a market full of local handicraft work and some food places, a place to buy a souvenir, we said to each other.
